リスボンからユーラシア大陸の最西端、ロカ岬へ。なんだか今更感もあるのだけれど、これからユーラシア大陸を東に向かって旅するにあたり、一応ここから始めたかった西の端。この世界一大きな大陸を、急ぎ足になる(予算の都合)とは思うけれど、東へと楽しく進んで行きたいなと思う。さて、この最西端、石碑があるぐらいかと思いきや、意外に絶景で、断崖絶壁に切り立った岩山。頑張って降りればプライベート感たっぷりのビーチと岩のアーチ。大西洋は真っ平らで、とても気持ちのいいところだった。ちなみにバスに乗り換えるために立ち寄った、シントラという街は鬼のように可愛さげだったので、後日また行くことにする。
DAY 608 : WESTERN END OF EURASIA
From Lisbon to the western tip of the Eurasian continent, Cabo da Roca. I knew it wasn't necessary but I wanted to start our Eurasian journey from here, going from the west to the east of the biggest continent on earth. It will be a rush (financially) but hopefully fun journey. By the way Cabo da Roca is not just an eastern tip with a stone monument, but a rocky hill on the cliff with an amazing view. Take some time and effort to climb down, you can get to the nice hidden beach with the rocky arch and the calm ocean. Besides, the town we stopped by for a buss transfer, Sintra seemed so cute that we decided to go back another day.
