ヨメいわく、旅のごはんベスト3には必ず入るという、タジン鍋。野菜をたくさん摂れるのが女性には嬉しいようで、モロッコに来ると決めた時から楽しみにしていた。各ご家庭やレストランによって、ちょっとずつ違いもあるのだけれど、僕らの認識は肉と野菜をじっくり蒸したもの。形はそのままだけど、ものすごく柔らかくなった野菜に、肉の味が染みていて、そしてスパイスが絶妙。初めて食べた時に、肉じゃがかと思ったほど、どこか懐かしいような気もして、とにかく僕らは大好きタジン鍋。ヨメは鍋を買って送ろうか本当に悩み中。
DAY 593 : LOVE TAJINE
According to my wife, tajine is one of the top 3 best travel cuisines of the world. Especially for her, a vegetable lover, she had looked forward it from the moment we decided to go back to Morocco. From what I know, tajine is steamed meat and vegetable with spice. The vegetables are soften, and sucked all the meat juice in harmony with spices. When I had it for the first time, it reminded me of a Japanese traditional dish. We love tajine so much. My wife is thinking whether she should buy the pot to send back way too long.
