プラハと言えば、プラハ城。世界で最も古くて大きな城らしく、外から見ると、街なのか城なのか分からないほど大きい。中に入ってみても建物がありすぎて、やっぱり街にしか見えない。まず目につくのは巨大な大聖堂。もうこれが城でいいじゃないかと思ってしまうほどの聖堂の中は、意外にシンプル。他の国々で見てきた豪勢な飾り雰囲気とは違う、なんていうか重厚感。これが城かと驚くほどアッサリした入り口の旧王宮も、飾り気が少ない。プラハの街を歩いて初めに感じた、なんとも言えない重めな空気がここにも漂っている気がする。
DAY644 : PRAGUE CASTLE IN CZECH
The must-go in Prague, the Prague Castle. The oldest and the biggest castle in the world. It is too big to even figure out if it is a castle or a town from outside. First, the giant cathedral is about the size of a castle. Huge but simple without lavish ornaments, and more like solemn atmosphere. The entrance of the royal palace was surprisingly plain, I felt the same intensity in the air as the first time I walked the city of Prague.
