エリトリアとの国境近くスーダン東の端、カッサラの街へ。不思議な山がある街。まだまだ砂が多いけど、グーグルマップの衛星写真を見てみると、この辺りから南に行くにつれて緑色の大地が続いていて、いよいよサハラ砂漠を抜けるのかとちょっと嬉しくなる。だけど暑さは増していて、バックパックを背負ってのホテル探しに泣きそうになりながらも、３軒目の宿でようやく部屋をゲット。屋上から山が綺麗に見渡せる素敵宿。ちょっとゆっくりこの街に滞在しようかしらなんて企む。
DAY 571 : A TOWN WITH A VIEW OF BIZARRE MOUNTAINS
Cassara is a town on the east end of Sudan by the Eritrea boarder with a mysterious mountain. Still quite sandy but according to Google Map Satellite view, it gets greener as we go down south. Although we felt kind of relieved to finally get out of the Sahara dessert, the temperature raised and made us cry while looking for a place to stay we had to walk with all the backpacks on the street. After a few stops, we found a nice hotel with a nice view of the mountain from the rooftop. It would be nice to stay for a while in this town.
