どこでも市場はこころウキウキ。以前、長いこと滞在したモロッコのフナ広場と同じく、このハン ハリーリ市場も、長い歴史を持つ場所だそうで、何百年の昔も同じように賑やかだったに違いないと想像すると、その迷路のような街の喧騒の中にいるのが楽しくなってくる。ガラス細工や偽ツタンカーメンマスク、衣料品から18K色々あって、店の人たちからかけられる声も「そんなの関係ねぇ」から「ニーハオ」まで色々あって、このカオス感たまらない。
DAY 537 the Khan Al-Khalili market
In any country, market makes me high. Like Djemaa el Fna in Morocco, the Khan Al-Khalili is a historical place. No wonder I get so excited imagining people from hundreds years ago spending time as I am standing right here in the busy street. I love the chaos of the market; so many different things are sold such as glassworks, fake masks of Tutankhamen, clothing and 18K gold.
