ここ、ンカタベイも何気にとても良いところ。小さな街だけれど、必要なものは何だって揃うし、意外と賑やかで楽しい。湖でとれる魚はやっぱり美味い。湖畔に並ぶコテージの前を、漁をする小舟や、通勤しているぽい手漕ぎカヌーが行き交い、水の上からハローと声をかけてくる。静かで大きな湖は、ちゃぷちゃぷと音を立てながら、一日に何度も色を変え、それをぼーっと眺めて、冷えたビールを飲むのは最高。文明と自然のコラボ、バンザイ。
It's actually very nice here in Nkhata Bay, too. Small but convenient and somewhat exciting. Fish from the lake is delicious. Looking out the fisherman boats and canoes from the lakeside cottage, people say hello to us. This big calm lake is sloshing and changing its color as time goes by. Drinking beer and gazing at the lake is the best. I love the collaboration of civilization and nature.
