2011年に始めた僕たち夫婦の旅は、まだ終わらない。もうすぐ丸８年になろうとしているのに、まだ終わらない。一時帰国と言いながら一年以上も日本で暮らし、なんなら部屋も住民票もゲットしたにも関わらず「まだ旅の途中」だと言い張ってしまうほど、僕たちの旅は終わっていない。ではいつまで続くのかと聞かれると、その答えがまた難しい。出来ることなら、一生やってたっていいんじゃないかって思う。国から国へ旅して歩くことも、日本に留まって頑張って仕事することも、ヨメとダンナ夫婦二人で生きていくことは変わらない気がする。久しぶりに背負ったバックパックの重さに驚愕しながら向かう先は２年ぶりのネパール。友達が買い付けている紅茶の農園にお邪魔しにいく。そのあと中東あたりを旅しようと思っている。多分、今までの旅とも日本にいる時とも変わらず、狭い部屋で夫婦喧嘩しながら進んでいくことになるのだと思う。そんな毎日がやっぱり楽しいななんて思う。
DAY755 : WE ARE BACK ON TRIP!!
It's been 8 years. Our journey began in 2011. And it is already 2019 but we are still on trip. We "temporary" returned to Japan, got an apartment and Japanese residencies, spent over a year and still claimed "we are still travelling". We don't know if it ever ends. I wonder if that's necessary. We can go on as long as we can. Traveling from country to country or working hard in Japan, it doesn't seem all that different for the two of us spending time together. Knocked down by the weight of our first backpacks in a while, we headed back to Nepal after 2 years to visit a tea farmer who does business with one of my friends in Japan. Then to the middle eastern countries. We may fight in a small hotel room as we always does anywhere on earth. And we still go on because we still like it like that.
