さすがのヴェネチア。想像を超えて素敵だったヴェネチア。ここはちょっと異世界だと思う。まず、車が走らない。運河が張り巡らされた島だから当然なのだけれど、でもだからこそ、古い建物と細い路地の中、僕らは中世にいるのかしらと錯覚させる。そして運河に面して水面ギリギリの家々とその扉に、ゴンドラで行き来していたころを思い浮かべて中世気分がさらにあがる。しかもアドリア海の水は透き通って綺麗で、薄く濁った不思議な色をしている。さらにここはベルリンよりも10℃ほど暖かく、日の入りも30分遅くて、もうなんていうかテンションあがりすぎる。ヴェネチア！
DAY653 : WALKING IN VENEZIA
It was way beyond our imagination, how pretty things are in Venezia. Almost another world. First, there is no vehicles since it is an island surrounded by canals. The buildings are old and the streets are narrow which gives the city a mid century atmosphere. The houses by the canals are slightly above the sea level. I imagine people in the mid century used the gondolas for everyday transportation. The Adriana Ocean is pure and clear, but somewhat an unusual murky color. Also the temperature is about 10 degrees higher than in Berlin and the sunset is 30 minutes late. All those factors just made me so excited. Love, Venezia!
