アムステルダムはオシャレで可愛い街。一軒一軒可愛い建物が運河に沿ってずっと並び、どこも本当に味があって絵になる。整然と造られているように見えるその街並みは、実はところどころにラフさがあって、そこが非常に面白い。なぜだかわからないが、ちょくちょく見かける傾いた家。無理やり隣家との隙間を埋めて、傾きながら建っている。なぜだ。老若男女問わず皆んな乗ってる自転車は、道にあふれてちょっとしたカオス。歩行者より自転車の方が優先されている気がする。そして何処でも匂ってくるマリファナの匂い。嗅いでいると、こっちまでブリっと楽しくなってしまうかもしれない。見た目とても可愛い街なのだけれど、そんなちょいちょいゆるい雰囲気がむしろ丁度よく、街全体に独特のあたたかみみたいなものを、僕は感じた。いいなぁアムス素敵アムス。
DAY630 : TIMELAPSE IN AMSTERDAM
Amsterdam is stylish and cute. I see pretty houses alongside the canal, very characteristic and picturesque. The streets look planned at first glance but rough at some point which makes it interesting. Some buildings are tilted for some reason. Why anyone build such tilted houses? To invade the straight gaps between houses?? Mystery. Everyone, young and old, ride bicycle everywhere. It even seems that the bikers have more priority than the pedestrians. And then, I can smell marihuana wherever I go. Makes me feel I am stoned. Overall I felt a unique kind of warmness from the cute, laid back and charming city of Amsterdam.
