「アルガンオイルは老化防止にイイ」大興奮のヨメにそう言われ連れられ、向かった先は旧市街の小さなお店。ここエッサウィラがあるモロッコ南西部は、そのオイルの元となる"アルガンの実"の原産地。そもそもアルガンの木は、モロッコの固有種なのだそうな。アルガンオイルは最近日本でも大人気で、ビックリする値段で売られている。でも、原産地だけあって、ここエッサウィラのお店に並ぶオイルは、ずいぶんと安かった。日本の半額以下。いや、もっと安いかしら。大興奮のヨメは、実はすでに買ってあるコスメ用に加えて、食用のアルガンオイルを購入。おかげで最近の朝食はパンにつけて食べてます。これがさらっとしてて香ばしくて、本気で美味しい。しかも老化防止効果ありとなんて、何て素晴らしいことか。これで僕の腰も治るはず。
DAY 596 : LET'S GET ARGAN OIL
"Argan oil is an anti-aging." My wife said so and took me to a small shop in the old town, so excited. Essaouira is located in the South West of Morocco is an origin of argan. Besides, argan tree is endemic to Morocco. Argan oil is very popular nowadays even in Japan and sold for surprisingly high price. Here in Essaouira, they are much reasonable, less than a half of Japanese price or even less than that. No wonder, it made my wife so excited that she bought cooking oil besides cosmetic ones she had already bought. We put it on the bread for breakfast these days. It is light but flavored, truly delicious. On top of that, how wonderful it is anti-aging. It should cure my strained back.
