モロッコに来た。また来た。また来てしまった。エチオピア滞在の延長を諦め、さて次はどこに行くかと考え出したらいつのまにかこの国に決まっていたモロッコ。入国の回数だけで言うと実に5回目、合計滞在日数は半年を超えるモロッコ。縁がありすぎて、むしろ怖くなる。一年半前、カサブランカから南アフリカへ飛び、そこから北へ北へと一年ほどアフリカ大陸を縦断した。日本への一時帰国もあったけれど、モロッコを出てからずっと他のアフリカの国々を旅していたことになる。そして、再び戻ってきて思ったのは「モロッコほぼヨーロッパ」。初めてスペインから海を渡って入国した時は「うわ超異世界」みたいに感じたのだが、もっと異世界だったアフリカの国々に比べて、随分ヨーロッパの影響が強いことを改めて知った。長かったアフリカ大陸も、モロッコでひとまず最後(多分)。すこしこの国で映像なんか作って、夏が終わるのを待ってから、ヨーロッパからユーラシア大陸を東へ向かおうと思う(多分)。
DAY 591 : WE ARE IN MOROCCO, AGAIN.
We are here again, in Morocco, again. After we gave up extending our stay in Ethiopia, among many choices for our next destination, it just turned out to be this country, Morocco, as our fifth time visit with the total length of stay exceeds a half a year. I almost feel the force which kind of scares me. About 18 months ago, we flew to South Africa from Casablanca and crossed the African continent upward to north for about a year. Besides a short stay in Japan, we were traveling mostly in African countries. Now back in Morocco, it feels quite Europe. Despite the first impression being totally different world coming from Spain, it has so much European influences here in Morocco compared to other African countries. Our long trip in Africa ends here in Morocco for now (likely). We will head to Europe and to Eurasian Continent after spending summer here making some movies.
