ギザのピラミッドのタイムラプス。ひたすらカメラを構えて、ぼけっとピラミッドを眺める。カイロ近郊の天気は、晴れてもどこかすっきりしない。風が吹けば砂けむりが舞い、滞在中、晴れていても空は真っ青にはならなかった。部屋の中でさえパソコンの上にはうっすらと砂が積もり、撮影中僕らはカメラを守ることに必死だった。よくもまあ、こんな環境で数千年も立ち続けたもんだと、なんだかピラミッドに感心する。物言わずただドカンと立ち続ける巨大な三角たちは、やっぱりちょっと不思議な存在だな、と改めて思ったスフィンクス前。
DAY 546 : TIMELAPSE OF PYRAMIDS AT GIZA
Staring at the pyramids for a while with the camera set for a timelapse. The weather around Cairo was always unclear even with the sunshine. It gets dusty when the wind blows, we didn't see a blue sky for the whole time we stayed. I could feel the sand over the keyboards even inside the room and it was such a pain to keep my camera away from the sand. All those things made me appreciate how patiently the pyramids stand in such circumstances for thousands of years without whining. This massive triangular stone objects rising above us indeed looked mysterious.
