外を見れば、スフィンクスと目が合う。遺跡好きにはたまらない宿だとヨメが叫ぶ、その名もスフィンクスゲストハウス。二つあるヒラミッドゾーンの入り口のひとつの目の前にあって、ちょっと有名なスフィンクスKFCのすぐそばと言う、これまた遺跡好きには夢のような立地条件なのだそう。ヨメいわく。夜になると、遺跡に照らすライトショーが入場料いらずに見られるので、お得。16時に閉まってしまうゾーン内では見ることが難しい夕焼けのピラミッドも、ここでならば見放題。三千年以上も世界で一番大きな建造物だったこのデカいのを、ボッと眺めながら過ごすのも何だか乙。
DAY 543 : SUNSET BEFORE SPHINX
Looking out, I get an easy eye contact with Sphinx. The Sphinx Guest House is a killer hotel for the monument freaks, my wife said. It is located in front of one of the two pyramid zone entrances, right by the famous sphinx KFC, a dream location for them. My wife said. We can see the lighting show without paying the admission and the sunset over the pyramid, which usually is hard to see because the gate close at 4PM. It feels kind of precious to spend time with the largest monument on earth for more than three thousand years.
