電車に乗ると旅気分は8割増。夜行列車ともなるともはやヨメテンション上がりっぱなし。ビクトリアフォールズからブラワヨという街まで、12時間の列車旅。車体は相当古いけれど立派な個室で、移動しながら横になって眠れることが何よりも嬉しい。窓の外は月明かりが照らすサバンナで、ちょっと何コレ超雰囲気あるじゃん的な、旅史上まれに見るウキウキ移動。
Railway journey can easily turn on our traveling mood. Especially when we took a 12 hours night train ride from Victoria Falls to a town called Bulawayo, my wife got so hyped up. The train body was classic and old, but with private compartments. We were very happy to be able to lay down and sleep. Looking out the window with moonlight over the savanna, It was one of our happiest transportations.
