世界を一周するのが目的だった、僕らの旅。ただ世界が広すぎて、僕らのスピードが遅すぎて、予定していた1年半はとうに過ぎ、それでもまだ一周が終わらない。ありがたいことにお仕事のお話をいただき、またもや日本に一時帰国をします。いろいろな連絡は世界中どこででも受けられるし、返信もタイムレスにできる。検索すれば、帰国用の飛行機チケットもすぐ取れる。たとえ地球の裏側にいても二日後には日本だ。超ハイテクビジネスマンのような動きが、一介の旅バカ夫婦にも簡単にできてしまうこの時代にただただ驚き、世界が近くなったことをしみじみ感じる冬の成田空港。
DAY664 : BACK TO JAPAN, AGAIN.
We were supposed to travel all around the world within a year and a half. Simply because the world was way bigger than we expected and we were too slow, we have been on a trip for way longer than we planned and it doesn't seem to end yet. Thankfully I got a job offer and we are heading back to Japan once again. Pretty much everywhere on earth, we are connected on line to receive and send messages or to reserve a flight right away. In 2 days, I will be in Japan from the other side of the world. How surprising for travelers like us to be able to move like a high-tech business person. The world is near. That is how I felt in the Narita Airport.
