どんな国でも首都は首都だなぁって思う。携帯電話もショッピングモールも、夕方のラッシュもバスターミナルも、他の国と大きくは変わらない。文明は同じ方向に向いている、なんて思えてくる。なので、首都はそうそうに抜けて地方の街へ行った方が旅っぽくなると学んだ僕らは、ハルツームをそうそうに離れ、アトバラという北の街へ向かう。ヌビアのピラミッドがあるそうな。
DAY 568 : LEAVING KHARTOUM SHORTLY
There is not that much difference between the capitals. Everywhere we go, the metropolitan culture such as the mobile phones, the shopping malls, the rush hours and the bus terminals is evolving in one exact direction, it seems. So se decided to leave the capital city and move on to the country side. Our second destination in Sudan is the northern village with Nubian pyramids, Atbara.
