夜のスークはキレイ。それでもって世界中、市場を歩くのはやっぱり楽しい。ここアスワンには長い長いスーク通りがあり、ぶらぶらと歩くだけで結構楽しめる。肉を焼いたいい匂いがそこらじゅうからして、ニーハオと100回ぐらい声をかけられ、整然と並べられたスパイスやに乙女心がキュンする。色とりどりに並んだスパイスの写真を撮り、そのお礼にとカレーを買ってボラれ、アラビア数字の時計を買い、焼きたてのパンを買い、回るチキンをディナーにして、結構楽しいアスワンナイトライフ。
DAY 562 : NIGHT AT SOUQ IN ASWAN
Souq look beautiful at night. Anywhere in the world, I just love walking around a market. Here in Aswan, there is a long open-air market street, quite entertaining just to walk through. Surrounded by the smell of meat and so many greetings in Chinese, the feminine side of me got attracted by the spice boxes lined up in an orderly manner. Taking photos of the colorful spices, getting ripped off in turn at the curry shop, buying a watch with numbers in Arabic, getting freshly baked bread and chicken for dinner; I am having such a wonderful night life in Aswan.
