チズムル島の初日。とりあえず歩いてみる。半日歩き続ければ、島一周できるほどの大きさ。小さい島だけど、超小さいわけじゃない島。電気も水道も無いと思い込んでいたのだけど、電気も水道もあった島。でも、電気はディーゼル発電のため、夜10時にはブッツリ切れる。水はたんまりあるじゃないかと、湖で食器や洗濯物を洗うお母さんたちをよく見かける。調理は基本、薪。車は島で１台だけ見かけた。道路はもちろん舗装されてない。魚が美味しい。子どもはカオス。夕日がすごくキレイ。そんな初日の鈴木の島探検。
The first day on the Chizumulu island. We start walking around. It probably takes a half a day to walk all around the whole island. Small but decent size. Unexpectedly, there was tap water and electricity run by diesel which stop at 10pm. Limitless water source, since I see women washing clothes and dishes in the lake. Firewood for cooking. Only one car found on the island. No pavement, just road. Fish taste good. Kids are chaotic. Sunset is beautiful. That is about it for the first day of Suzuki's island adventure.
