モザンビークの首都、マプトを歩く。活気があるのか無いのかよく分からない街、という印象。高級車からオンボロまで、車はたくさん行き来し、中心部は人も多く行き交う。けども、建ち並ぶビルやマンションは何だか古びていて、それらがわりと近代的な街全体を寂れた雰囲気に感じさせる。観光客は絶対に立ち入ってはいけないエリアもあり、まぁあまり夜に出歩くのはやめましょうと思える感じ。旅行するなら、都市より田舎のほうが楽しめる気がする。

We took a walk in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique. I found difficult to say something distinctive about the city. At the central part, there are many cars, luxurious and junks, and many people but the buildings are quite aged which makes the whole urbanized city look desolated. Some part of the city look very unsafe for tourists to go in. I enjoy traveling much more in coutryside than in urban cities.
